FullSizeRender (11)

I have this superstition though, whenever I go for an interview I need to wear this skirt. This day I paired it with this blue hearts shirt. And guess what???? I got the Job.

Anyway so I wore simple hoops with it. And to complete the look put on my favourite watch and black pumps.

Do y’all have any kind of superstitions like moi?

The Power of Power Dressing

Hellllllllo beautiful people!!!!!

The Power of Power Dressing. I love this title given by me. And I love this kind of dressing.

Ps- I think i have been inspired by Kangana Ranaut’s recent interview with Barkha Dutt. What a confident, fearless, powerful woman she is. I’m in awe.

FullSizeRender (4).jpg

To dress this way is to show that we women hold an important powerful position in  any business, work we do or even at home. Basically the powerful position we hold in society.

I love this style of dressing.

I think my personality comes through when I dress like this.

This dressing also creates a great impact on people.

In this I have paired a simple black camisole with a beautiful wrap around maroon skirt. I have put on a blazer and worn beautiful long earrings with it.

So anyway getting to the point.

I went to Accessorise India recently at Phoenix Mills, Lower Parel, Mumbai.

And wow they had some amazing jewellery.

I picked up a packet of two sided earrings. The packet had three different colours white, black and silver.

I also bought a matching pearly white bracelet.

On this Zara dress I have worn the bracelet and the white two sided earring for a classy, formal look.

I have completed the look with black heels.

Hope y’all like the look.

Festive Looks

Ganpati Bappa Morya!!!!!

One of my favourite festivals is just around the corner.

I love this festival. There is so much happiness and positivity that Lord Ganesha brings with him.

People get the “murti’ (idol) of the God to their houses on these ten days and invite people to take blessings of the Lord.

I visit eight to ten different houses. Take God’s blessings and eat yummy food, especially my favourite Modaks.

I am showing you two different last minute looks that I have put together which is so perfect yet edgy for this festive season.

Also you do not need to buy anything special to wear these looks.

Look 1

In this I have worn a plain black crop top with a ghaghra. Completed the look with mojris/ jhuttis, jhumki earrings and some bangles.

Look 2

Black and Beige

Hi my beautiful friends!!!!! It’s been a long time.

I have alwaysssssss loved body hugging dresses. They make you look so confident and sexy.

I have always been a fan of body hugging dresses. This dress from forever 21 is one of my favourite buy. Every time I wear it I feel so powerful and confident.

I was a bit skeptical to buy this beige shade but I realised that it makes the dress look even more sexier.

I paired it with black stilettos and  my favourite black bucket bag with tassels. I have DIYed the black stilettos to tie ups.

This dress can also be worn in the day  with a coloured bag and thong sandals or sneakers even.

PS- I love sneakers. They are life.

I wore a maroon lipstick from MAC to complete my look.

Hope y’all like this badass look. Cause I love it. It’s so me.

Its me attending engagements, weddings and dressing up in beautiful different attires.

So last whole month I’ve been attending so many weddings and other functions included in the weddings like haldi, mehndi, dandiya, pooja etc.

I’m going to show y’all what all I wore?

Hope y’all like my outfits.

I have designed each one of them myself.

Mandap Mahurat: So this is the Pooja in order to begin the wedding festivities.

I wore this lehenga saree with jhumiks by Ritika Sachdeva and kolhapuri chappals from street shopping at Hill Road, Bandra, India.

Haldi- This is the day when the bride and groom seperately by their respectively families are smeared with turmeric and besan paste all over their bodies.

I wore a simple halter neck kurta with pants and this awesome earrings I bought at the Lil Flea. And put over a heavily embroidered black duppatta to make the outfit stand out.

Mehndi- This function is specifically for putting henna on the bride’s hand and feet. Other family members and friends also put henna on their hands.

P.S.- I personally hate the smell of henna.

I wore this crop top and skirt with a beautiful piece of head jewellery.

Engagement- I wore this indowestern skirt and black croptop for the engagement. the Skirt is made by me. The croptop is from And this beautiful earrings are by the_hypeofficial.

Pheras- I wore this lehenga choli during the ‘Pheras’ i.e. when the actual wedding rituals take place.

Reception- I wore this beautiful hand embroided saree at the reception i.e. the function when the bride and groom are congratulated by the family and friends on their marriage.
